RECLAIM THE 95%
Architecture for the Subconscious. Validating the Biotic City.
1: Beyond the 5% Mind

Fig 1.2:While modern design restricts our biological potential to the stressed, transactional 5% (left), we are pioneering restorative, biodigital environments that entrain with the pre-reflective intelligence of the 95% subconscious (right)
We spend our lives in environments designed for the 5% of our minds that is conscious and transactional. The modern city ignores the 95% of our intelligence—the pre-reflective, biological, and subconscious bandwidth where our true well-being resides.
In partnership with the University of Sheffield and Arts et Métiers (ENSAM), we are bridging this gap. This is the first sanctuary where the "Wetware" of the human brain meets the "Greenware" of the plant kingdom. We are moving beyond the aesthetic to the Biotic.
2: THE CLINICAL URGENCY
The 40% Neural Tax Body Text: Current high-friction urban environments act as "Atmospheric Compression" chambers. They impose a 40% metabolic drain on the human nervous system—a hidden "Neural Tax" required simply to filter out sensory noise, flicker, and spatial chaos.
The Result:
-
Accelerated cognitive decline in the Silver Economy.
- Increased cortisol and systemic stress in the workforce.
- Environmental Vertigo: The loss of Gait Stability and spatial confidence.
3: THE THREE PILLARS (THE SCIENTIFIC ENGINE)

Fig 3.1: The Biotic OS Framework—Integrating Pillar I (Extraction), Pillar II (The Bio-Adaptive Editor), and Pillar III (Micro-phenomenology) into a unified Longevity Infrastructure.
A Transdisciplinary Framework for Restoration
Our methodology moves beyond aesthetics. We employ a three-pillar framework to validate, calibrate, and deploy restorative design:
PILLAR I: EXTRACTION
(The Neuro-Signatures)We utilize MPET (Mobile Physiological Environmental Tracking) and eye-tracking to deconstruct historical restorative sites—such as the 15th-century Maison Dieu in Chalon-sur-Saône. By identifying the mathematical Fractal Density and Spatial Ratios of these ancestral "Palaces for the Poor," we extract the specific geometries that trigger Alpha-wave restoration.
PILLAR II: INNOVATION (The Bio-Adaptive Editor)
The Editor is our proprietary hardware/software bridge, operating in two critical phases:
- Phase 1: The Validation Engine (Lab-to-Field Calibration): Before any physical construction, the Editor serves as a diagnostic tool. We use it to monitor real-time biometric responses to spatial stimuli, validating which specific neuro-signatures (light frequency, haptics, and ratios) successfully stabilize the nervous system in a controlled environment.
- Phase 2: The Biotic OS (Real-Time Modulation): Once validated, the Editor is deployed as the "Nervous System" of the building. In a live environment, it "edits" sensory outputs—acoustics, lighting, and haptics—in a closed-loop with the resident's biometrics to foster Neurogenesis and Gait Stabilization.
PILLAR III: INTERROGATION (Micro-Phenomenology)
Technology alone is insufficient. We utilize Micro-phenomenology (The Petitmengin/NRP method) to capture the "pre-reflective" moment of peace. This rigorous interview technique allows us to cross-reference our high-tech biometric data with the authentic "felt sense" of the human experience, ensuring our designs are anchored in the soul of the resident.
4: THE LIVING LABORATORIES
The Ancestral Neural Signatures
What was historically termed 'Sacred Geometry' is now understood through our research as a precise mathematical arrangement of space—specifically Fractal Density and Prospect-Refuge Ratios—that triggers a biological state of restoration. We are moving from the 'Aesthetic' to the 'Biotic'

From the Lab to the Landscape
We are currently deploying these pillars across two primary research sites:
Project A: The Chalon Pilot (Maison Dieu)
Location: Île Saint-Laurent, Chalon-sur-Saône.Partnered with the LISPEN Lab (Arts et Métiers), we are conducting a Neuro-Spatial Audit of this 15th-century "Palace for the Poor." Our goal is to create the world’s first clinical benchmark for Longevity Infrastructure.

Project B: Chelsea 2027 (The Garden of Consciousness)
Location: RHS Chelsea Flower Show, London. Our global R&D showcase. A living laboratory featuring Professor Paco Calvo and Professor Andrew Adamatzky,
demonstrating how plants and biocomputing can stabilize the human nervous system.
